Antoni Gaudí i Cornet 25 June 185210 June 1926.
He was a Spanish Catalan architect and auspicatehead of Catalan Modernism. Gaudís works reflect his highly individual and characteristic style and are largely concentrated in the Catalan capital of Barcelona, notably his magnum opus, the Sagrada Familia.
Much of Gaudís work was marked by his quatern life passions: architecture, nature, religion and love for Catalonia.
Gaudís roman print Catholic faith intensified during his life and religious images broadcast his work. This earned him the nickname Gods Architect and led to calls for his beatification.
