The nature perspective says that you ar born(p) with inherent characteristics, that make you the person you are. The nurture side believes that you are a dumbbell slate at birth, and as you vex different things you grow as a person.
The nature perspective was promoted by Plato. Plato believed that all knowledge was inherited through maternal(p) guidance, so that when you are told something new you dont actually learn it, you are reminded of it.This though, is rather weak, as if you knew everything your parents knew at birth, you would surely have to have the same size brain, but we know that the brain grows as we develop therefore we preservenot have everything stored at birth. On the former(a) hand, the nature perspective is strengthened by Mendels discovery of hereditary inheritance. This states that when we are born we inherit traits from each parent, which is exactly what the nature perspective says.
The nurture perspective says that our deportments and physical traits are the crossroad of experience. It says that the environmental influences are what make us who we are, but this can be criticised.
For example, if you watch a programme about murder, its incredible you will not become a murderer. On the other hand it is also quite true because, if as a child you benefit from performing a certain behaviour, you will do it again, and benefit again.
