The ¨Man¨ from its roman name, Mamucium. ¨Chester¨ comes from a Saxon word for the Roman fort. Manchester is one of the largishgest cities of England. Since 1801 until 1851 its population grew up more than others big cities, for example, London. Like a big city, it has big squares, lots of centres for shopping, good communications… This city also has a Museum, its called Museum of Science and Industry and its in the Liverpool Road. Its a big museum built in the first line station that the city had. The Liverpool and Manchester Rail style (L&MR) was the worlds first inter-city rider railway in which all the trains were timetabled and were hauled for most of the distance all by steam locomotives. The line opened on 15 September 1830 and ran between the cities of Liverpool and Manchester in North West England in the United Kingdom. MOSI( Museum of Science and Industry) is divided in five buildings. During our visit, we barely could arrest four of the five buildings because one of them was closed by rebuilding.

In my opinion, the best part of the Museum was Air&Space Hall, because I could see a lot of oldest planes that was built in Manchester and other ones that was exported. I the like this building because I love the aeronautics. But Manchester, like an other big city, had environmental and social problems, the shock city. unmatchable of these problems was the Cholera epidemic in 1850 because of the polluted water. In the piazza Building, we could see a model ilustring this epidemic. The model was on the sepulcher of a child. I didnt like this part because I thought that was very dolorous but other way It showed the reality. I think that Mosi is a good place for live more of the Manchester´s Culture, in fact, you can know the lead keys of the development of the city.
