In this assignment, I provide focus on coronary artery disease. Definition: coronary artery disease occurs due to the impaired coronary blood flow. The main cause of coronary artery disease is atherosclerosis ( plaque), which causes narrowing of one or more coronary arteries, results in lack of blood and oxygen supply to the distal stop (Huether & McCance, 2004).
