Write about your views and experience of Equality and Diversity as a counsellor in training. In this essay I wish to explore assumptions made by society and myself, regarding adolescents and the venerable within our culture. Viewing the barriers of these two groups who may wish to search counselling, and to bring my own experiences of stereotyping, and seeing how this will affect me in practice. I have chosen these two groups as I feel they can display similar issues and disorders and can a good deal be unheard by society believing their vista not valued.
