Philosophy paper

Of the papers that one writes in an academic life, philosophy paper is the most different. Unlike other papers it follows its own lead. It involves identifying a pressing issue in the society, forming a thesis for it and going ahead to table write about the thesis in a number of ways. The paper should aim at supporting the claim that the writer has put across. The difference of the paper is that, all the claims a writer puts across must have reason to support them.

One can be deceived with the fact that some claim is true and does not need much argument not knowing that it might be easy to overestimate the strength of one’s own position. The idea is to assume that the audience does not support ones position and thence go ahead to convince or make it clear to the audience why one stands on such grounds. The best way is to start with common assumptions that everyone agrees to other than those of an individual that the audience are likely to disapprove.

A good paper of philosophy makes a small point that is clear and straightforward. People have the notion of attempting to accomplish much in these papers resulting in a paper that is difficult to read and understand, has inadequately supported claims that are poorly explained. One ought not to be over ambitious in such a paper.

Issues are numerous in the society and many people have talked about them. But every other person has his/her view point and reasons to support that. Hence the backbone of these papers is originality of the reasons that support the claim.
