How do I make an essay.

Essay writing is an unavoidable exercise for students. Therefore, the process and method of making an essay is very crucial since the paper should be well organized with a simple language that is understood by many. Thus, the following outline will give an aid to any individual who wonder how do I make an essay. Preliminary stage: In this stage the following questions are considered: What is the purpose of writing this assay? To give on a particular subject; as an academic requirement, or for a group of friends. Who is my audience? Fellow students, lecturers/tutors or pupils.

This stage will help you decide on the type of language to use, either formal or informal. Pre-writing stage: this is the stage which enables you to brainstorm for ideas. Do research on the subject by consulting the following materials: Books, journals, magazines, newspapers and by consulting friends and lecturers. After doing the research, write an outline of how you are going to tackle the topics, and make sure you record the materials you have used.

The first step is to write a draft. In writing the draft to not give much attention to the spellings and punctuation, instead concentrate on the ideas. During the review you should ask yourself the following questions: Is the thesis statement stated clearly? Is the plan of organization followed? Have you mentioned the main points supporting the thesis statement? Is the language used marching your audience? Are the paragraphs well arranged and coherent? Is there a conclusion? Proofreading aims at ensuring that there are no spelling mistakes, punctuation errors, and grammatical errors. This is the final stage of paper writing.
