These doublethink ideas are used to make the citizens cerebrate and accept the two contradicting ideas that are brought roughly through propaganda and enforced through the thought police. The community of Oceania are under grapple control and these slogans are used end-to-end the novel to dish with the control. Through the ignorance of the people, boastful Brother gains condition and strength. This idea is associated with the slogan, Ignorance is Strength. The society controls the past, present, and future and the people are alone oblivious to this which gives the companionship this ability.
