Geoge And Lennie's Relationship

The novel presents a male centered world, where women dont hark back up a voice and is a microsm of how America was in 1937. The mass was written around the time the Great Depression occurred. It was very hard to get a job during that time. Men had to spark off by themselves to find dissemble for themselves. These men were known as itinerant works. They had no fixed address, they belonged nowhere and they usually had no company Guys like us, that work on ranches, are the loneliest abuses I the world.

The both protagonists, George Milton and Lennie Smalls, travel together to find work; when they do, they have to channel because of an incident caused by Lennie. George is the leader and the father figure whereas Lennie is the well-built and child-like character. The novel shows the adventurous journey these characters travel in attempting to find work and not be run out and to achieve their dreams. normally George is always looking out and looking after Lennie I got you to look after me, but you got me to look after you.
