Beowulf Essay
The epic Beowulf is a long poem/story about a paladin who defends his people from this monster who has been terrorizing their town. He ends up taking finish up with his men to go hunt down and slay this monster, know as Grendel. The Anglo-Saxon tale of Beowulf clearly fits the archetype of an epic, which is a long narrative poem that contains the values of a circumstantial culture, plus it follows the deeds of a hero.
Beowulf is by far the more or less epic hero of all time. This is obvious when his super-human strength, loyalty, courage, generosity and report are taken into account to defeat upcoming threats. They took a hack at Grendel from every side, trying to open a path for his evil soul, but their points could not hurt him, the sharpest and hardest conjure could not scratch at his skin...that blunted every deathly mans blade (23). Beowulf and his men attempted to hurt/kill Grendel when demo a sign of courage to step up to a monster. The monsters hatred rose higher, but his power had gone. He worm in pain, and the bleeding sinews deep in his shoulder snapped, musculus and bone split and broke (24). Beowulf used his super-human strength to split off Grendels arm and had him run away.



Then old and juvenile rejoiced, turned back from that happy pilgrimage, mounted their hard-hooved horses, high-spirited stallions, and rode them easily toward Herot again, retelling Beowulfs digestry as they jogged along (25). Citizens of Herot told the story about how Beowulf was brave enough to fight Grendel with such bravery.
