Learning Marys Style
What are my strengths and weaknesses in the world of two-fold intelligences? Upon studying and researching examples for multiple intelligences, I am applying the results to reveal my own style of come uponing. The surveys I have taken will give me insight and challenges on how to use those results to my personal benefit and success.
Throughout my life, I seemed to inherently know that opthalmic back ups made learning easier for me. It was unceasingly easier for me to learn if someone physically showed me what to do. I was not at all surprised to learn that I was strong in the Visual-Spatial(Lane, n.d., p. 1)(survey, n.d.) category. I love sketching, photography, movies, television, etc., and I can sit and power-watch movies an consummate weekend! Unfortunately, that doesnt rush the homework done. Teaching videos on the internet are immensely helpful to me when trying to learn something Im not familiar with. YouTube is a deary of mine when Im trying to fix something with my without end supply of legal instruments. I have almost every tool known to man, much to the delight of my husband. My weakness is my lack of concenter and my short attention span.
Repetitive study seems to help.
Shockingly enough, I have found that my strongest suit is in music! Ive always known that I could sing well; singing harmony was my specialty. One thing that has mystified me since childhood was my king to tune a guitar by memory. This leads me to conclude that both visual and auditory skills are part of my learning style. I consort to use books on compact disc for instruction in medical procedures and as a how-to on the equipment. I get wind to motivational discs while driving and at home to aid me in interaction with my peers and my patient
