I am a returning veteran into the program, victorious the course in sequence so this is my here and now semester plant life with him. My group comprises of one veteran who has earlierly worked with Joe and two new in approach students. One of the incoming students has worked with children in the Special Olympics, so his background has made our semesters experience exciting even so therapeutic.
My patient is Joe and he has autism complicated with touch at birth. The get-up-and-go and attention that a child gives to you is much larger than a sick patient in a hospital or a nursing home. I feel that throughout the accommodative aquatics, Ive gotten to know Joe really well. A childs curiosity close the world is really intriguing coming from an innocent individual. Working with Joe, we are both in our second semester working together.
He would have a slight spontaneous shake when he would walk upright, possibly due to the stroke he had when he was born. He would always talk about the problems, but not as much as previous semester. Although he as autism, he still remembers our groups name and also recognizes some of the other patients in this program. facial expression past his disabilities, he is still and always will be a child just like anyone else. Joe dreams for going to college and learnedness big boy things.
I feel that the adaptive aquatics program has changed this boys life. This program has stopped the autism in Joe and he seems to be progressively improving in equipment casualty of his mental capacity.
