Organizational culture is a divided up set of beliefs and values within an organization (Schermerhorn Jr., Hunt, & Osborn, 2008, p. 11). A lot of times the beliefs and values that are shared within the organization are associated with the over completely goal of the company. At Heald College, the employees share the same belief that they are there to check a difference in each and every students life. The actions of the employees whether it is instructors or staff impact the lives of the students on a daily basis. Thinking about changing lives through cultivation is an important belief, and allows for the employees to know that they are making a difference.

Organizational behavior is the study of individuals and groups in organizations (Schermerhorn Jr., Hunt, & Osborn, 2008, p. 5). This concept is leading to workplaces understanding organizational dynamics, group behavior, and social processes with the main goal of improving the performance of the organization and the individuals who are employed there. In the Business Office at Heald College a team of four individuals are working together to achieve the same goal.
